Sam and Luke seriously know the meaning of the words 'class' and 'elegance' because their big day has it in spades. You'll see what I mean when you take a look at the images below...

It helps that this pair are ridiculously good looking, like a pair of Hollywood film stars just destined to be together. But it's clear that the pair are completed besotted with one another which makes me smile from ear to ear.

There's so many things I love about this big day - from Sam's voluminous white peony bouquet and sleek and sophisticated Caroline Castigliano gown to the sage green bridesmaid dresses and off-white table centrepieces. Oh and they got married at Babington House too which always looks sublime whatever the season.

I have a feeling that you folks will like this 'I Do' as much as I do.

Sam The Bride: I was pretty relaxed in choosing, I didn't really look online as I've never worn such a dress before so I had no idea on what I was looking for so found it pretty pointless searching endlessly online for something I had no idea about and knew that it would look different on too.

Instead I booked three appointments at all very different designers to give me a range of styles. Browns London was my first appointment, a boutique that has a variety of designers so was a good starting point, then Jenny Packham, much softer and relaxed designs and lastly Caroline Castigliano.

They really focused on the shape of the dress, which worked out great. We started from one end of the spectrum to the other end, once we found the type of shape we then focused on material and flow. Then I tried on Celebration design, as soon as I put it on I knew I'd love it, it just felt right, I walked out to my mum and sister and we all just knew it was the one. Quickly followed by tears and champagne! I customized the bodice with a piped lace, lowered the back and added an attached belt and was good to go!

I'd always dreamt of having a veil and the idea of walking up the church aisle with a cathedral length veil following behind was an image that I'd wished for.

Luke is tall at 6ft6 so generally has some issues finding suits to fit so he decided to treat himself and the groomsmen to a bespoke three piece suit from Gieves and Hawkes on Saville Row. As my dress was a surprise, Luke decided to keep his suit a surprise too.

We were living in Switzerland at the time of the wedding and we were busy travelling to and fro back home for various reasons over the seven years that we lived there so were searching for a venue where we could have everything all in one place and have all our family and friends stay so we could make a relaxed atmosphere, have everyone at one place, at one time and spread the wedding over a few days.

Babington House ticked every single box for us as a venue. The chapel is incredible, the big glass windows let in so much light and all of our guests could stay and enjoy the evening as late as they wanted to before enjoying a lovely breakfast together in the morning and reminiscing about the day before. We stayed for an additional day so we could have some time together to relax after the whirlwind of it all.

Flowers By Passion had an amazing Aladdin's cave full of vintage inspired goodies that complimented our choice of flowers. I was desperate to have peonies, the fluffy and lovely scent of the flower was ideal. Unfortunately their season is very short and the likelihood of having them in August is slim. On the morning of the wedding the florist surprised me with my big bouquet of peonies explaining that they were pretty much the last of the season.

The card table held framed photos of both sets of parents on their wedding days. Our favours were Cancer Research pins since we had made a donation on the guests' behalf's. It's a charity that is close to our families hearts, being that my mother in law has had a battle with the disease.

We found it really hard to find bridesmaid dresses, we weren't looking for something formal so it was very difficult. My sister knew of a friend of a friend that had just branched off on her own and had set up her own design company. Jaime was fab, she owns a little studio above the old railway arches in Kings Cross where we met to discuss our visions. Both herself and my sister sketched out the plan and created and designed the dresses. Our 10 year old niece's dress was from Notting Hill. She was at an in-between age, and a lot of flower girl designs were too young for her and bridesmaid dresses were too old.

We wanted to get as many friends and family members involved in our wedding ceremony as possible so that they all could be a small part of the day. Three nephews conducted a reading called On Your Wedding Day and Luke's sisters read a religious passage - 1 Corinthains, Chapter 13. Our close friends were our witnesses. One other nephew rung the chapel bell to gather the guests inside. One of our dear friends was pregnant and was due any time around our wedding day so we managed to link a webcam from the chapel to a laptop in the bar to Skype so they could watch too; it was so nice to know that they were "there".

Our traditional vows meant a lot; the words are very symbolic and meaningful. I almost didn't get them all out, but managed to gather myself together with the help from my dad who whispered "sausages and mash" in my ear to help me to stop crying!

Dancing on the lawn to The Buskers was so much fun! They created the laid-back daytime atmosphere that we were aiming for. Partying in the evening consisted of another live band, Apache, who sung our first dance "Ho Hey" by the Lumineers and continued until the after hours and were taken over by the Bongo playing DJ's.

Our cake was made by Luke's mum; she'd never made a cake before and decided to create this wonderful creation! She had spent days making the peony icing petals and few days before the wedding disaster struck, her dogs had decided to jump on the table to eat the icing. So she had to do them all over again!

Simply the best, most amazing team of people make up Brett Harkness Photography. They captured every special moment possible and catalogued the essence of the day perfectly. They have been an absolute joy to work with and could not have worked out better. We're extremely pleased with the level of service and they have out stretched themselves way past our expectations!!!

Frances from Reel Love Films was also an absolute pleasure to work with. Again she managed to capture all the precious moments and created such masterpieces. We were extremely fortunate to have such great teams around us, they knew where to be at what time and it all ran so smoothly, we didn't even notice that they were there! Highly recommend both video and photographer, best decision ever!

Photos and film to us personally are something extremely important; a week doesn't pass without looking back at them, the day is such a bubble and it really does fly by so quickly, it's an absolute dream to be able to look back on such incredible memories.

Make sure that you get a moment to yourself. I stepped back and looked in on everyone dancing under the stars having a lovely time, it was really a special moment, you work so hard to ensure that everyone is ok and will enjoy themselves so it was a pleasure to see.

Take two minutes together. We had a moment to take a breath in the lobby prior to walking into the wedding breakfast. It was really special to have those few minutes just to have one another and to soak in the magic of the day. Enjoy it! It really flies by so make sure that you both take advantage of all that hard work that you put into making it a special day!
