This year Berta was inspired by elegantly combining two seemingly contrasting beauty ideals - the simplicity of nature, mixed with decadence of old world luxury. Embracing both, the collection is an artistic creation celebrating the many facets of feminine beauty. Incorporating the old-world luxury of long trains, hand-sewn pieces, and intricately meshed, fine fabrics, combined with the modern simplicity of sexy silhouettes, shorter trains and soft, light fabrics, we think the collection hits the mark!

The spectacular new Berta bridal gown collection was shot in Tuscany, chosen because of its decadently exquisite ancient architecture and interior design, juxtaposed against the simplicity of its organically beautiful landscapes.

Meet the Designer: Q & A with Berta

Berta officially entered the world of design at the age of 21, however her style instincts and love of fashion were apparent long before that. As as a five-year-old girl Berta would give her mother fashion tips, suggesting ways to improve her look using accessories.

Since the start of her career, now spanning two decades, Berta has successfully launched one of the most instantly recognizable bridal design houses around. Last year, we introduced our readers to Berta with this behind the scenes interview as we gawked over her 2014 collection. So much has happened since, and we were lucky enough to once again catch up with Berta for a quick Q & A session. Here's what Berta shared about her current collection and the success of the past 12 months:

THE CURRENT COLLECTION, DESCRIBED IN 3 WORDS: BERTA'S STAND OUT MOMENTS OF 2014: BERTA'S FAVORITE PIECE FROM THE NEW COLLECTION: Like a mother who loves all her children equally, it is impossible for me to choose just one piece. Each design in this collection is like a child to me, and they are all equally beautiful in my eyes. 2014 has been an amazing year for us. We have had many highlights, but receiving recognition from leading fashion magazines such as VOGUE and ELLE are at the top of the list!
