With Christmas only 10 days away, we'd love to say we are winding down but in fact, we will have a big new site reveal early in the new year so we are busy busy! This time of year is so magical, there is no doubt about it and if you are considering a Christmas wedding, you certainly won't have to put a huge amount of effort into creating a jolly atmosphere. Like any seasonal wedding themes, we always suggest to take a little inspiration and then adapt and if possible, try not to take the easy route and go with the all of the cliches. Instead, focus on a few elements that you love the most, add a twist and if you are going to go with a traditional palette, use it subtly. The light disappears so early in winter (another tip: consider an earlier ceremony so that you will still have the light for your bridal portraits), so it's a great reason to fill your reception room full of a hundred candles and soft white fairy lights. Today, we wanted to present something very simple and paired back, kind of an honest Christmas palette without all the fuss and frills that come with our favourite holiday. We put together this very neutral, almost minimalist inspiration board to highlight that really, it's all about being surrounded by family and friends, and nothing else really matters.
