Luxury Cashmere Wedding Inspiration

Luxury Cashmere Wedding Inspiration

Welcome to the first Inspiration Board of 2015! Throughout 2014 I was honored to work on many styling projects both for the blog and for private clients, and during this process I have found a vast array of stimuli and ideas for my inspiration boards in 2015.

I read a quote by English art critic John Ruskin that said "Quality is never an accident", and this set my mind ambling through the different materials and textures that can be used within weddings.

A true luxury material is cashmere, brought about by the time, approx 4 years, that a goat needs to grow enough hair for one cashmere sweater. Whilst cashmere has seen as a quick glimpse in bridal wardrobes, when Olivia Palermo wore a cashmere jumper and tulle skirt combo for her wedding, it brought cashmere bridal wear further into the spotlight.

So today I am looking at a luxury cashmere wedding inspiration board that is set in a winter Brantôme in France.

The board features a muted colour palette enhancing the natural cream tone of cashmere wool. Building on the organic influence of cashmere, linens, wood and vintage cutlery have been included to add a depth to the style.

I hope you enjoyed the first inspiration board of 2015 and you can see more here.

I look forward to where our creative adventures can take us this year!
