Kim and Richard agree they couldn't have asked for a better wedding day. "This was the wedding of my dreams," says Kim. "My older sister Krista had recently been married at our family cottage in Dwight, Ontario and I adored the setting. It was both magical and personal, since Muskoka is a place my family has been visiting since childhood."

For their celebration, Kim and Richard went with a vintage-meets-nature theme. "Windermere was the perfect venue. It created a stunning setting for our marriage vows," says Kim. "Also, with 120 guests, we were able to use the entire resort, making it a private getaway for our families."

The couple's ceremony was followed by an amazing dinner catered by Chef Andy and the Oliver & Bonacini team. "The food was amazing, the team showed their talents by highlighting local produce," reflects Kim. "The compressed watermelon salad and beef tenderloin were the hits of the night."

Kim says the live music during the reception was another highlight. "The band kept guests dancing all night. And they did three encores! We couldn't believe so much fun could be had in one day," she adds.
