DIY Body Scrubs for Your Pre-Wedding Beauty Routine

DIY Body Scrubs for Your Pre-Wedding Beauty Routine

via

We all want to look and feel great on our wedding day - and from finding the perfect dress to the putting together the right pre-wedding fitness routine, we fully support your wedding preparations. Especially if they also include the occasional donut (or cake tasting party, of course). And while most great wedding beauty prep involves drinking lots of water and getting enough sleep, sometimes it's also fun to indulge in a little at-home pampering. These DIY body scrub recipes are a perfect way to do just that, and the best part is that most of them are made with ingredients you already have in your kitchen. So clear off the counter, open up the pantry and prepare to soak up a little homemade luxury. You won't regret it.

Mango Oatmeal Body Scrub: Perfect for sensitive skin, this mango, honey and oat body scrub is a gentle exfoliator packed with Vitamin A. The honey is a healing, soothing addition for all skin types.

Coffee Coconut Sugar Scrub: Coffee, coconut and sugar...we're pretty sure nothing about this situation could be bad. Coffee is a natural way to fight cellulite and firm your skin (one more reason caffeine is a wedding planning lifesaver) and the coconut oil in this recipe is super moisturizing.

Coffee Body Scrub Cubes: We'll admit that scrubs can get a bit messy - which makes these body scrub cubes kind of amazing. The trick? Coconut oil solidifies at cooler temperatures, so keep these cubes in your freezer and grab one when you need a little skin smoothing in your life.

Vanilla Rosemary Scrub: If you're a fan of rosemary, you'll love this sweet, scented scrub. The combination of vanilla and rosemary is fantastic and the scrub will keep your skin feeling smooth long after you've washed it off.

Peach Passion Sugar Scrub: This peach tea-based DIY body scrub sounds good enough to eat. Seriously, hold us back.

Green Tea Scrub: The addition of green tea and matcha powder to this scrub makes for a refreshing, rejuvenating skin treatment that will soften your skin and help you prep for the big day.

Lemon Sugar Scrub: Antibiotic, exfoliating, cleansing and brightening - this scrub does it all. The zesty lemon scent is a bonus.

Whipped Grapefruit Mint Scrub: As we've noted before, this grapefruit mint scrub (along with any other option on this list) would make for an excellent DIY bridesmaid gift. That is, if you can convince yourself to give it away instead of using it all yourself.

Floral Body Scrub: Leave it to Anthropologie to create a body scrub recipe as pretty and fun as this floral one. It combines real rose and lavender petals with sea salt, essential oils and moisturizing sweet almond oil for a lightly scented body treatment.

Pineapple Body Scrub Recipe: This tropical scrub is another one we'd be hard-pressed not to try tasting with a spoon, but it's also high in antioxidants and great for stimulating collagen production in the skin. You know, if you decide to use it as a scrub after all.

Organic Body Scrubs: Brit + Co has several awesome DIY body scrub recipes on their site. Our favorite is the super moisturizing citrus and avocado oil one above.
