Sometimes an elaborate celebration with hundreds of guests is not what the couple wants! Sometimes a small, intimate destination wedding full of charming details and quality time spent with loved ones is the preferred route, just like in today's beautiful Tuscany wedding by our favorite, Greg Finck Photography. The stunning embellishments on the bride's Anna Campbell gown match the charm of the ancient Italian villa, where friends and family gathered to celebrate the new couple. Wedding planner Italy Weddings designed a sophisticated tablescape with ivory linens to complement the colorful peach colored florals...

From Greg Finck Photography: "Ciara and Mark are an Irish couple from Belfast, Ireland, and had chosen sunny Tuscany for their wedding. When you're used to grey sky and pouring rain, it's hard not to totally fall for Tuscany, that fabulous part of Italy calling for bathing sun, easy lifestyle and awesome food and wine.

At the very first contact, Ciara and Mark explained me that they wanted a very intimate wedding, with just forty guests, to focus on the essential, and enjoy their loved ones. They had chosen a magnificent historical Villa - Villa Piaggia - in the heart of Tuscany, to tie the knot. This venue is ideally located, surrounded by square miles of Chianti vineyards and breath-taking landscapes. All of their forty guests had met there for 4 days of celebration, and spend time together. The d-day has been perfectly planned and designed by Ben Singleton, from Italy Weddings, an American who has been based in Tuscany for years, organizing weddings there. A simple table enhanced by a giant flower garland and fairy lights created a very charming and warm atmosphere. Floral design made of pastel peonies was everywhere, from the Bride's bouquet to the church decoration. To keep on that pastel theme, we decided to do the couple session in the middle of olive trees, surrounded by tall grass and a magnificent sun. The couple and their guests then enjoyed a typical Italian meal made of handmade pasta with figs, beef with brunello sauce and rosemary roast potatoes. This beautiful summer day ended with the cutting of a giant millefoglie wedding cake."
