Leah and Judah's wedding story is all about bringing two hearts and two families together from different backgrounds and parts of the world. Leah and Judah, both Olim from Canada and Switzerland, met six years ago in Israel while they were both on different summer programs. Both trips happened to be at the same hostel for one Shabbat where they met and decided to stay in contact on Facebook. Four years ago Judah made Aliyah while Leah was visiting her family in Israel, they met up again and they were inseparable ever since.

The romantic proposal happened in the midst of a snow storm in January while they were re-visiting their first kiss's spot in downtown Jerusalem, Judah went down on one knee in the snow and mud, gave a beautiful speech and asked for Leah's hand. She of course said YES!

As opposed to their dreamy proposal weather, they decided to hold their wedding during the summer at the beautiful garden of ' The Q' at the Kibutz Glil Yam. To capture their special moments on their big day they chose Barak Aharon as their photographer. Since it was so hot that day, they got little personalized electric fans for the guests to grab and it was a big hit. In addition, they had a hashtag where people could post pictures using Instagram and then they would be printed on magnets.
