In 1948 years ago, Catering by George's began when they grandparents opened a grocery store. When I first became acquainted with Catering by George's, they ran a restuarant and catering service. Of course, Catering by Geroge's was known throughout the Jackson community for their great food. Years later they purchased Reservoir Pointe where they could host celebrations and events. Catering by George's still offers "off-premise" catering if the bride has another location in mind for her wedding and reception.

When asked what he liked most about what he does, Chris George, one of the grandsons, who operates Catering by George's at Reservoir Pointe, answered that he the challenge of marketing all his products and services to customers both present and potential.

A little about Catering by George's at Reservoir Pointe: They are an off premise (mainly corporate) catering service specializing in breakfast, lunches and special events. In addtion, Catering by George's specializes in off site weddings and rehearsal dinners. Finally, as the owner of Reservoir Pointe, Catering by George's can host any event.

If you could give a bride one tip/one bit of advice, what would that be? According to Chris, you don't have to overspend on numerous traditional charges and contract numerous vendors to make your event successful. Find someone that is "full" service and see what they have to offer. Then make you decision on what you may need.

Any funny stories to share? Chris relaed that he had a groom disappear for a very long time after the ceremony. The bride was not happy.
