The palest of pink blooms, pretty fairy lights and little metallic touches are always a winning combination and even more so when they are in a gorgeous venue like Almonry Barn. One of our Love Lust List recommended venues, Almonry Barn has the same historical protected status as Stone Henge - and is believed to be the oldest wedding barn in the UK, but it has been beautifully and sympathetically restored making it a truly striking place to get married, as you can see. The Venue

Kat The Bride: Our wedding day was inspired by Almonry Barn, as soon as we saw it, we were reminded of our regular family trips to the South of France because the stone which the barn is made of is very similar to the white chalky Quercy stone of the Lot region in France! My family has been visiting this region of France for 25 years and Alex and I love going there so the venue was perfect!

The Decor

Louise from Almonry barn was wonderful, she is a gifted designer and made the barn look absolutely gorgeous with the help of brilliant florist Amber Persia, we received so many compliments on our flowers! We loved the idea of having a mixture of wild and classic flowers and they did such a brilliant job!

Our colour scheme was soft pinks and creams, with dusty pink being the highlight colour.

The Suppliers

The majority of the suppliers we worked with were independent small business owners and we were blown away with the attention to detail, the care we received was amazing!

The Bride

I wore a gorgeous Pronovias dress (stocked at Windsor and Eton Brides), Eva and Carla really made me feel like I was the only bride in the world it was such an amazing experience!

The Stationery

We had our invitations, table seating plan and place settings designed by Quints of Jersey, Emma is a dream to work with, we loved that we could create something new truly bespoke for our wedding. Our items cam beautifully packaged which made the whole design experience something truly special!

The Beauty

My hair and make was sone by Katie and Louise Alway (sisters!), Katie (the make up artist) stepped in last minute, less than 24 hours before the wedding after my original artist experience a family emergency last minute, I was so grateful to Katie!

The Images & Film

Our photos and video were handle by duo Julie Michaelsen and Ross Haley! We absolutely loved working with them! They were so professional and hard-working, not to mention extremely passionate about what they do! We loved the attention to detail, from the framed gifts to the presentation of the USB, everything was amazing and we couldn't be happier!
