It was a typically downtown affair last night, as DKNY celebrated its Fall 2016 collection with a giant rager at Irving Plaza.

The atmosphere at Irving Plaza for DKNY's NYFW party

A live music venue, Irving Plaza wasn't completely transformed for the event, but they were kind enough to put in lounge-style seating in a makeshift, roped-off VIP area right in front of the stage, where 17 foot tall models smoked cigarettes, danced to DJ Jus-Ske and awaited a performance by Big Boi.

Designers Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow (the pair behind Public School) celebrated the streetwear-heavy collection backstage with Zoe Kravitz, while maybe a thousand partygoers, threw back the open bar's beverages in the main room. The party was light on famous faces, but as Fashion Week parties go, DKNY got the unpretentious vibe down pat.
