There is a certain understated grace in a couple who have weathered the ups and downs of the years, through children, career changes, and all that life has to bring. You can absolutely feel the love and trust between Sarah + Ned, not to mention their beautiful children, in the photos from their vow renewal ceremony! For those of you planning a wedding now, this is what you have to look forward to :) LB Event Planning helped create a breezy outdoor celebration, full of laughter and sweet celebration.

Birds of a Feather captured the incredible photos and told us what it was like to witness the couple's special day: Sarah and Ned's vow renewal was one of our absolute favorite moments to capture. Her a model and him a musician, Sarah and Ned have been together for over 10 years and have two beautiful children that they wanted to share this experience with. When you were around this couple you could instantly feel the love, respect and admiration they had for each other.

They decided to have their vow renewal at a close family friend's house in Carpinteria and the location could not be more perfect and intimate. It was beautiful and elegant, while also creating a peaceful simpleness that you could not try to recreate by force. Their children were able to run around bare foot and play all day and the guests were relaxed, engaged and basking in the couple's love for each other and everyone around them. It was an absolute pleasure to be there.

Prim and Pixie 's invitation suite captured the effortless romance of the day.

So pretty! Girl Meets Bongga gave Sarah a sweet bohemian braid and kept her makeup soft + neutral.

Sarah's bouquet by Viva Voce had a rustic + wild feel, a floral theme felt throughout the day.

Sarah's dress is by Odylyne the Ceremony from Solstice Bride and we loooove those ruffled sleeves!

Is this not the most perfect photo you've ever seen?! Such a beautiful image of love + legacy 10 years later!

After the vow ceremony, guests celebrated over food and drinks in the California sunshine!

The dusty peach roses seen throughout is one of our favorite little details!

Borrowed Blu provided the rust + blue tabletop rentals, creating an escalated picnic style. LOVE this tablescape.

The furniture rentals came from Circa Vintage Rentals and the lovely menus are the handiwork of Prim and Pixie.

Our favorite memory of the day was during the meal. The catering was done by Made By Meg. The food was undemanding and clean, yet fresh and full of color. Everyone was under this beautiful flower covering around this rustic, wooden table that lived on the property. The plates, candles and flowers were all unique and mismatched in a way that complemented the event and the people involved. The guests were so comfortable and relaxed with each other and having a great time and we were honored and excited to be able to bring that to life on film.

We just love the sweet moments between these two!

We used the beautiful landscape of the location and natural sun while photographing to highlight all the colors, beauty and natural elegance of the place. We wanted clean pictures so that you could admire all the beauty without getting overwhelmed by details and most of all we wanted to capture the love that was there that day. We worked with a fabulous team of vendors and this event was a dream come true.
