You've probably realized it already: weddings are expensive. No matter what your budget is, chances are it's slowly creeped upwards from your original estimate - maybe by a lot. As a bride in the middle of planning, here are some realistic wedding budget tips that have drastically helped to keep the budget from ballooning out of control.

Now that you've seen the wedding, I'm back to tell you about how we spent our money. During our planning process, I always found budget posts helpful, especially when we were first developing ours, so I wanted to make sure to share this with the hive before signing off for good!

Seth and Lauren's wedding had a laid back vibe, a budget of just $4000 and lots of lovely homemade details. They planned the day in just three and a half months with lots of help from their friends and family! "I love gold and feathers", said the bride.

During the cold and dry winter months, there are some beauty rules you must follow to keep your skin smooth and your hair healthy. When you're planning a wedding, there are a million and one things going on in your mind and we are very aware of that. Which photographer to go with, where to have your rehearsal dinner, which flowers to choose, how much to budget for everything...

The title of this post is a misnomer. The Pin Cushions didn't actually budget for our wedding. That's not to say we were throwing money around willy nilly. We tried to keep costs down and had a general "around twenty thousand" goal, but we did not budget out every item from the get-go.
