Upcycling pallets is something common now. I adore the design people create using them. Wooden Chair and Shelves are not the only projects in which you can find pallet elements; we've even found A Pallet Fence.

However, people are so creative that they try to repurpose other wooden things. For example, Kate of Design Sponge has salvaged a wooden barn to make a rustic Headboard. The wood of the barn is random and square so she left the original look of it to make the headboard look even more natural. The beauty of this project lies in simplicity, the only thing you have to be careful about are the splinters.
