Claire Pettibone unveiled her dreamy 2015 bridal line in the gothic-inspired Refectory of New York's famed High Line Hotel. Adorned with floral arrangements, vine garlands and chandeliers, the setting proved a perfect match for the designer's latest line entitled "Gothic Angel," which was inspired by the lavish facades and stained glass windows of Europe's most renowned cathedrals.

Keeping in tune with this season's colour trend, the collection saw several gowns in pale blues with metallic detailing, including a jaw-dropping sheer blue gown overlaid with floral embroidery. Silver lace detailing also added a pop of icy sophistication and encapsulated Pettibone's ethereal, gothic fairytale aesthetic. Other key looks dominating the runway included gowns with bell sleeves, shimmering accents, scalloped V-necklines and ornate embroidery. While the collection overflowed with eye-catching elements, the real show-stopping details were the backs.
