The styled wedding shoot we have for you today will transport you back to the hazy days of summer. Lovely leafy forest shots are mixed with the golden backdrop of freshly cut Umbrian hayfields, and we can just imagine a picnic style wedding taking place in this idyllic setting. The location is the grounds of the 12th century former Italian monastery of Sant'Andrea and the shoot was planned, styled and photographed by Bianco Antico. "We decided to set this styled shoot in beautiful Umbria, a location full of charm and history. We travelled to the grounds of a 12th century former monastery, with a tower built around 1000. We started the shooting at dawn and finished during sunset, under an huge ancient oak tree in the middle of a corn field. The wedding table was set for two, with decor elements of lanterns, antique apothecary bottles and a very romantic set of ancient flatware. Around it baskets, trunks, fabrics, pillows and more lanterns were placed picnic-style. Wildflowers, fruits and herbs were gathered for the centerpieces: roses, viburnum, rosemary, sage, lavender, hibiscus, peppermint, white carrot flowers and blackberries. To convey a certain amount of tradition as well as a hint of magic we decided on classic wear for the bride and groom with some extra special touches: for the bride a gorgeous lace dress, with ample tulle skirt, and for the groom a classic three-piece suit with bow tie. The extra touches added a whimsical slant; a floral headdress with ribbons for her, and a Borsalino hat (which once belonged to film-maker Vittorio De Sica) and a very chic pair of Armani glasses for him."
