MAGNOLIA AND FRUIT GARLAND

Hi Guys....and yes, I've been seriously MIA...I'm so sorry....this thing called "life" can sometimes throw you a few unexpected curves, but you/me/we can't let it take us out of the game...it truly only makes us stronger...okay, my encouraging words for the day...now let's get to cafe feature!!

In case you missed it, I was doing my happy dance on Friday y'all....I had the pleasure of being on one of my favorite blogs, Design Sponge! And did you know that Grace and I are "home girls".....well, sort of...we're both from VA...close enough right!!

So, I made this super pretty and super easy DIY Magnolia and Fruit Garland for Design Sponge and Grace shared it everyone on Friday.....if you'll looking for a beautiful way to dress up the Thanksgiving table, look no further....I've got you covered! Have a lovely day my friends and thanks so much for stopping by the cafe today and a huge shout out to my girl, Ali of Alisandra Photography for coming over and capturing all the pretty..xoxo

Ingredients:

Magnolia Leaves (foraged)

Privet Berries (foraged)

Fruits: Persimmons, Figs, Kumquats or Satsumas (WholeFoods)

How To's:

Start by placing the magnolia stems down the center of your dining table. My table will be set for 4, so I knew from the start that I wouldn't need a very long garland and keep in mind that you need to leave space at the end for the place settings.

After placing the first magnolia stem, you will place the second stem with the leaves covering the stem of the first piece. Continue this process to the middle of the table and repeat the same process starting from the other end of the table.

Next, place the vessel that you will use for your floral arrangement in the middle of the garland and also the candles. Now, start placing your fruit and berries within the garland and play around with the placement, there's no wrong or right way.
