It's maybe not the first thing that pops to mind when thinking about comics and superhero's however, even those who are dedicated to justice need somebody to run them a hot bath at the end of the day and watch Netflix with. With the new release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice being released today we thought it may be a nice idea to look back at some of the greatest superhero relationships to ever roam the universe. Batman & Catwoman.Catwoman isn't always too happy about being told what to do by a man in a bat costume, but we like that about her - her sassy attitude and element of evil keeps him on his toes. You could say theyPeter Parker's love life has been far from perfect - after all, he did accidently snap his first loves neck when he was trying to save her, I mean how do you get over that? Cue Mary Jane. With Lois Lane being the first lady who pops to mind when thinking about Superman's romantic interests, you may be less aware of the romantic spark which took place between the bad-guy fighting duo. Their relationship may have lacked longevity, but whilst they were together their relationship was the best, representing all things fluffy; rainbows, Whitney Houston songs and even a child together! Let's hope Lois's nappy changing skills are up to scratch.Reed Richards & Sue Storm. Reed and Sue are Marvels power couple - he's one of the smartest men in the world and she's the ultimate super powered lady. They may seem perfect but like all marriages they have had some rocky moments, whether it's down to Sue's attraction to anybody who hates Reed, giving birth to kids with insane powers which they can't control, or Reed's devotion to his first true love of science. Outside of all of that, they are the one of the longest running superhero couples of all time, accepting that they are never as strong apart as they are together. Right from the very beginning, Spiderman was destined to fall in love with the girl next door, and nobody fits that description better than Mary Jane. Peter and MJ's love is the type you find in high school sweet hearts, resulting in them becoming one of Marvel's most famous and loved couples. are made for each other... Quite literally, as although they do make a fab couple - Bob Kane originally created Catwoman for Batman. All in all, these two creatures of the night make the perfect match even if they are technically enemies. What can we say; we all know that good guys like the bad girls and vice versa. Superheros aren't known for their romantic personalities, but to be fair to Batman it must be difficult to commit himself - for starters, he probably doesn't have much time for a social life and general happiness when he spends his working week fighting men dressed as clowns and ending wars. Even if eventually he was to find a lovely lady, surely he'd spend most of his time lying where he was and worrying that she is going to get blown up or kidnapped. So maybe this is what makes Catwoman all the more pur-fect - you're welcome.
