DIY Baby's Breath Wreath

DIY Baby's Breath Wreath

via

You may remember our DIY Floral Letters from a few months ago. The floral letters were a hit, and our friends at Pinterest invited us to their headquarters to teach a DIY for all of their employees! Since making this baby's breath wreath was so fun (and easy!) for us, we thought we'd share the tutorial on our blog, too.

DIY INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1: Gather your materials. You will need a wreath ring, 22 gauge floral paddle wire, floral sheers, wire cutters and blooms of your choice.

Step 2: Prep your flower material. Cut blooms with your floral shears into roughly 5″ lengths.

Step 3: Gather roughly 5 stems of your material and make a little bundle in your hand. Take the paddle wire and and wrap the blooms onto the wreath ring while pulling the wire tightly around the wreath ring and back onto itself. You can leave a small portion of the stems sticking out below the wire.

Step 4: Repeat Step 3 until you've covered your wreath ring. Each bundle should overlap so that you cover the previous bundle stems.

Step 5: Getting it ready to hang. Make a loop with your green floral wire and attach it in the center of your letter. String a beautiful coordinating ribbon through your loop and hang on a on a door, or wall!
