A rainy Lake Tahoe wedding with a rescued pit bull

Rainy day weddings are my favorite, and I just love to see couples get enthusiastic about tromping around outside in the wet for photos.

Lisa and Menotti had to scramble to make their outdoor wedding happen near Lake Tahoe last September. Their original venue fell through with less than a week to go before the ceremony! They still managed to say their vows outside despite the threat of rain, saving the fun, rainy photos for later.

I'm really digging the come-what-may, we're-in-this-together vibe of this wedding. Their friends surprised them by helping set up the night before (when Lisa and Menotti thought they'd be doing it all on their own!), and the couple helped each other get ready the morning of the ceremony. And I can't leave out Primo, Lisa and Menotti's rescued pit bull. He looks ready to help with anything - maybe relieve some wedding-day stress with cuddles?
