When it comes to experimenting with beauty products, you may as well just call us Einstein. We're not claiming to be geniuses, but we do live for trying out all kinds of crazy and amazing makeup looks. But sometimes (although not often, we admit!) we just don't have what it takes to successfully experiment. Either we don't have the brightly pigmented palette required for the electric smoky eye we've been dreaming about or we can't find that exact deep purple lipstick we've been dying to try out. Recognizing this, the geniuses at L'Oréal Paris developed an iPhone app called Makeup Genius that lets you seamlessly try on fun new makeup looks and products without actually touching any products. Experimenting and genius. Einstein, indeed! Here are four of our favorite looks from Makeup Genius, as modeled by two of our Team MDC members, Erin and Maria!

The esteemed smoky eye. Day or night, this eye look has got it going on. But for this look, Makeup Genius shows us how to make the smoky eye perfect for daytime.
