Happy Friday Folks. I hope you are prepping for a weekend of fun and frolics ready to welcome August in style. This morning I have the most delightful London wedding to share with you, which you are going to adore.

WWW readers Zita and James tied the knot on the 16 ^th May 2015 and hosted their wedding party at The Prince Albert pub in London. Vibrant colours were order of the day with the most glorious Spring blooms and festoon lights to boot.

Just wait until you see the floral masterpiece of a cake and the dreamy portraits too.

THE PROPOSAL | James popped the question during our Christmas trip to Easter Island last year (2014). It was summer over there, We were walking alongside the sea, loving our moment with the blue South Pacific, the smell of the sea and the magical Moai. Then, surrounded only by nature he got down on one knee. There was no one around so it was completely personal and sweet which is the way I would have dreamed it.

THE VISION | We both wanted a laid-back wedding with our family and friends. Not only did we want to enjoy the occasion but we wanted them to enjoy it too. We didn't want anything grand, as that didn't really suit our style. As our wedding was going to take place in early spring we set the theme of the wedding as "Spring" to incorporate lots of vibrant colours and summery flowers. Our vision of the day is a sunny (a bit difficult with English weather, we were really lucky that the sun was out and warm) Saturday sitting in a pub, hanging out with friends/family and having a pint/pimps to echo the spring colours and chill like we normally do.

THE PLANNING PROCESS | We only had five months to put everything together; there were a lot of stressful days and nights! I never envisioned any dream weddings, like many girls would usually, but after spending a lot of time researching and reading blogs, I slowly figured out what would be my dream wedding.

Then everything happened so quickly. We visited a few venues, but after visiting Prince Albert we just knew that this was it. It perfectly fitted how I envisaged our wedding.

THE VENUE | We had the ceremony at Camden Town Hall, followed by reception at The Prince Albert in Camden.

THE DRESS & ACCESSORIES | I absolutely love my wedding dress. It's a beautiful ivory lace dress from Vera Wang. It was the first dress I tried on and despite trying many others afterwards; it was the one that stood out. My bridesmaids helped me to redesign the dress and they did an amazing job. I need to give credit to the tailor too, who put everything together. I had a lace veil to go with the dress and also bought a pair of converse for later on, you want to make sure you can party the night on.

To fulfil the wedding tradition, I wore a new pink-ish pair of Akoya pearl earrings and necklace, a pair of cute blue suede shoes, a borrowed bracelet from my best friend from school, Geri, who was also my bridesmaid and an emerald heirloom ring from my mother.

GROOM'S ATTIRE | James wore a smart navy three-piece suit, from Gieves & Hawkes, and a pair of brown brogues that he already owned.

THE READINGS & MUSIC | I walked down the aisle with "Itsumo Nando Demo" - one of my favourite Miyazaki Hayao animations from childhood and I still get butterflies today! When we were signing we had "Bring me the sunshine" by Willie Nelson and walked out with "Here come the sun" by Beatles.

We had a band in the afternoon at the pub - The Mersey Belles: two girls who are just great and the kids absolutely loved them. They had a vintage style with upbeat music.

BEAUTIFUL BRIDESMAIDS | I had four beautiful and the most amazing bridesmaids - Dorothy, Angelique, Natalie and Geri were so helpful and managed to comfort me, sort out lots of things on the day and made sure all the timing tied in to the run down. I forgot to say that they also organised really funny and embarrassing games for James and the guests, which was a highlight of the day. I want to take this opportunity to thank them for standing next to me again as they always do :) Bridesmaid dress shopping was so easy, I was keen to get something that they can reuse again, we randomly saw it in Reiss and thought it would be the perfect dress and luckily all the girls loved it. It was coral dress and it matched perfectly with the flowers, and our "Spring" theme.

My flower girl - Kidston, is Geri's daughter and also my god daughter. She wore a white dress from John Lewis and a heart necklace I gifted her for leading the way.

THE FLOWERS | I love lots of flowers of many different types and colours - a bit of randomness working together to produce the magic. I found the florist - That Flower Shop - on WWW, and did not hesitate to choose her after visiting her adorable shop in Shoreditch. The flowers looked stunning on the day. Vibrant and unusual and exactly how I wanted.

THE CAKE | We wanted our wedding cake to be very flowery and colourful and were very lucky to find Katja's cup cake. Our cake was a massive success, everyone was talking about how great it looked and a couple of our friends even asked me to forward the contact details for their own wedding. We had a 7 inch top tier with a few dozen cupcakes underneath. We found Katja's Cakes online, and she drew us a picture of the top tier so I knew exactly what to expect. In fact it came above my expectations for sure.

YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER | Irene Yap was our photographer, whom we found on Facebook. We adore her clean and simple style, and immediately felt comfortable with her when we first met. She is enthusiastic and passionate about her photography. We love the pictures she took from the wedding day, and the engagement shoot.

THE DETAILS & DÉCOR | We didn't really have to decorate The Prince Albert as it already had plenty of character with its beautiful period features. We added some bunting and some fairy lights to highlight the occasion. Our table plan was based on our holiday locations, with a guidebook and some photos on each table. We gave each guest a hand-made fortune cookie with his or her name sewed on the front. For the children, we prepared colouring books.

MEMORABLE MOMENTS | The day went by in a blur. Walking down the aisle was a particularly memorable moment. Clutching my dad's arm and seeing the faces of our friends, then seeing James standing at the front with his big smile. It was a very emotional, yet happy moment that was shared with our closest family and friends.

ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES | Just do what you want to do. There is nothing you must or must not do. It's your day so don't care too much about other people's opinion. I know it's hard but try your best not to stress yourself too much because on the day you won't even care about those things. The day is going to go by so quickly so try to enjoy yourself as much as you can. Even the stressful bits will become part of your treasured memories.
